Miko-Mahikan Red Wolf provides comprehensive services that focus on improving all areas of wellness and is directed by Traditional Knowledge Keepers. The program is based on person-directed care, which includes meeting people where they are at in their journey and supporting them to work toward their goals.

The program promotes an integrative and cultural approach to address the prevalence of HIV/HCV. This includes the screening and treatment of HIV/HCV and also the treatment of opioid use disorder. It has been recognized that individuals accessing services may have other medical needs and experience socio-economic challenges that are quite impactful to their well-being. To address these complexities, the program utilizes education, case coordination, and outreach. The program offers a safe environment that is free of judgement.
