The Women’s Health Centre provides comprehensive services that focus on improving access to preventative health care for women. In a safe environment reproductive health care is available to meet the needs of the women from all our communities. Nurse Practitioners are able to manage and treat health concerns unique to women across the life span.

The goal of the Women’s Health Centre is to improve access to primary health care services for women.

Services Offered:
• Birth Control • IUD Insertions • PAP Tests • Breast Exams • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) • Bladder infection assessment and treatment (UTI) • Bladder incontinence assessment, treatment and care as well as referrals to the Pelvic Floor Pathway for advanced care • Pessary options and fittings • Treatment and lifestyle options to manage menopausal symptoms • Assessment and management of menstrual issues
• Mental health services and referrals 

During Pregnancy:
• Offer of midwifery care for low-risk pregnancies • Labour and birthing suite for midwifery clients • Referrals to obstetricians • Pregnancy testing and ultrasound referrals • Prenatal and post-partum care • Assessment and treatment of infections in pregnancy • Clinics in some communities

Collaboration and referral with other health care professionals to address aspects of health, including physical, emotional, spiritual health and cultural needs. The Women’s Health Centre philosophy is guided by the organizational goal of the All Nations’ Healing Hospital to ensure all who enter are welcome, respected and supported in meeting their health and wellness needs.




All Nations’ Healing Hospital is owned and operated by File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council (FHQTC) and Touchwood Agency Tribal Council (TATC) and is funded through a transfer agreement from Health Canada and an operating agreement with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
