Please be advised that All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) has been experiencing high patient volumes in the emergency department (ED). Please anticipate longer than expected wait times and temporary disruptions in being able to accept EMS. Providing high-quality, safe and wholisitic emergency services to our community is essential, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Emergency Services remain open 24/7

All patients presenting to the ED are triaged by a Registered Nurse using the Canadian Triage Acuity Scale (CTAS) ranging from one signifying the sickest and five the least sick based on the information provided by the patient, family members, and EMS staff. This ensures providing treatment to the patients with the most urgent care needs first.

Our staff are working very hard to provide you with timely and culturally safe health services and care.

We thank you for your cooperation to be kind, polite, respectful, and patient when accessing care at ANHH to help support a positive experience for all.

Resumption of Services

Please be advised of the following resumption to acute care services. Effective immediately All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) will be a re-opening two acute in-patient beds to a total capacity of twelve beds.

Thank you for your continued cooperation during the temporary service reduction. For questions or concerns please call 306-332-5611.

STOP TB Canada – Rationale for Lighting up Landmarks in Red for WTBD

Tuberculosis (TB) is a leading global cause of death and kill 1.5 million people each year. World TB Day occurs annually on March 24^th and is one of eight official global public health campaigns marked by the World Health Organization. The day commemorates the day in 1882 that Dr. Robert Koch discovered the cause of tuberculosis, a turning point in the fight again a disease that raged across Europe and the Americas at the time. On this day, advocated across the world stand in solidarity with one another and alongside the communities affected by this devastating disease by lighting their landmarks in red.

TB is a relatively unknown and neglected disease; despite the global devastation it has wreaked for centuries. Lighting up ALL NATIONS HEALING HOSPITAL will help to build awareness of the impact the disease has in Canada, in SASKATCHEWAN, and around the world. In participating in this on World TB Day this year, the town of FORT QU’APPELLE demonstrates their solidarity in the global fight against tuberculosis and will help to generate the global leadership we need to see the eradication of the disease.

Re: Resumption of Laboratory Services

Please be advised that All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) will be resuming full laboratory services effective March 18, 2022 at 8:00 am. All routine outpatient laboratory services for blood work, x-ray, and ECG’s will be available during the following hours with no appointment necessary;

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

RE: Temporary Disruption to Laboratory Services

Please be advised that All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) will have temporary disruption to out-patient laboratory services due to significant staffing challenges. Effective March 16, 2022 at 8:00 am there will be temporary closure to routine and non-urgent out-patient laboratory services that includes blood work, x- ray, and ECG’s.

For urgent needs please call the lab department at 306-332-3627

Laboratory & Diagnostic services for patients admitted to the hospital or presenting to Emergency remain available. We apologize for this inconvenience. Your understanding and cooperation during this time is greatly appreciated.

Outbreak of COVID-19 in All Nations’ Healing Hospital Declared Over

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) public health officials are notifying the public that the outbreak of COVID-19 declared on January 19, 2022 for the All Nations’ Healing Hospital has been declared over today, February 28, 2022.

We thank the staff and leadership at the All Nations’ Healing Hospital for their prompt and thorough response to the situation to protect the health of staff, patients and visitors.

Please be advised of gradual resumption of services at All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH). Effective immediately there will be a re-opening of two acute in-patient beds to a total capacity of ten beds. Further re-opening to full capacity will be continually assessed to ensure safe, high-quality, and wholistic patient care.

Earlier this month, you may have heard some conversation regarding compensation for First Nations children: “On December 31, 2021, negotiations between the Parties reached an Agreement in Principle (AIP) that sets out a non-binding plan for Canada to satisfy the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal orders to cease its discriminatory conduct and prevent its recurrence in the provision of child and family services and Jordan’s Principle” (First Nations Child and Family Caring Society, 2022). To clarify, this is a step in the right direction for Canada but is a pre-agreement that has yet to be finalized through a Final Settlement Agreement.
